the children were nestled ...

I have been so worried this year ... about the lack of magic. You remember? When you were little, and Christmas took forever to get there, and the whole month was magical? I was worried my kids weren't feeling it, and I was super sad. Today, I realized I had nothing to worry about :) The morning dawned bright and early with the discovery that Lilly (our elf on the shelf) had set our traps for us (a Willson tradition, dating from Jeremey's childhood ... the elf's set traps on Christmas Eve so no one sneaks out to see Santa ... then Christmas morning, you have to find your way through the traps to get to your presents) to practice, and at the end of the traps, there was some presents from Lilly!!
She brought Fancy Nancy Dolls!! The girls played with them all day, in between watching the Santa Tracker ....
We had a yummmmy dinner, and then decorated our Gingerbread Men for Santa!
Well, one of us decorated ....
We got new Christmas jammies ... and surprise, surprise, there were some for our new dolls, too!!
We sang in front of the tree, and did our 'Christmas Interviews' for Daddy ...
And then we begged mom and dad to get on with it so Santa could come! (Annie was WIRED all day! By the end of the night, she was running in circles screaming. Literally.)
We fed the reindeer ...
wrote letters to Santa, and put out our cookies ...
and now the children are nestled all snug in their beds!! Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!!
